i took super long to complete this... haha, so its kinda outdated, but still can be read (:

finally i'm getting down to posting about what i did after the exams...

first of all, getting the group to go out with was a very messy process. brian asked me whether i wanted to go out to watch a movie on tuesday. that itself was very late. anyway, i told him i'll only go if he invited more people. the last thing i want to do is go out in public alone with brian... so he asked ryan, gab and isaac to go too. they all agreed so i had to agree.

then gab started asking where we would be going, and i asked whether we could go vivo city. and brian was like, "what the hell is vivo city?" seriously...who doesnt know what vivo city is??? so we asked isaac, and he didnt even know either! so brian started labelling us nerd weirdos for knowing haha. so to prove our point, we asked everyone around whether they knew what vivo city is, and everyone knew, so he started claiming all of us were idiots while isaac and he were the only 2 that didnt change >.<>the following event was cut short due to lengthy crossing of conversations, with me as middleman.

it was finally decided: plaza singapura, 12.10pm, wtc.

the next morning, more complications. adriel wanted to go to vivo. i told him there were no early timings for wtc in vivo, but he brought a newspaper clipping of show times in cinemas. he even brought a map and the bus guide to show us how to get there! so the 5 of us had an argument of where to go. ryan, adriel and isaac wanted to go vivo, while brian and i wanted to go ps. we never agreed till we ended school and brian did a coin toss, deciding that we should go to vivo ):

so we left school by the illegal back gate, cutting through the fallen fence. and isaac didnt have his outdoor clothes so he had to go back home heh. adriel, ryan, brian and i took a bus to harbour front bus interchange and walked the rest of the distance to vivo.

however, on the bus, adriel told us that the newpaper clippings of the show times were from the previous day! i think he thought that show times are same everyday for the week. so we were basically going towards vivo without knowing whether there were show times which were not too late...

so we arrived there, and it was really huge. we found the directory and adriel and ryan took maps of the place. then they started walking around and looking at the maps at the same time. they really look like tourists! it was soooo funny!

well we found the cinema pretty quickly, and it looked great. we went in to look at the times and wtc's first show was like 1++. i was seriously put off cos i didnt wanna wait that long, but the other 3 seemed fine with it. since it still wasnt open, we had to go out of the cinema and eat first.

we sat at the first food place we saw: carl's jr. ryan said that he had eaten there before and the burgers were real nice. but the price was really expensive and adriel and brian didnt have enough money, considering that they had to buy tickets later. so we were basically arguing about where to eat, and then i occasionally tried to cut in and ask them to go to plaza sing so that we can catch wtc at an earlier time, which was very quickly turned down by the 3 of them. so they still continued talking about eating place.

then, the person behind the counter gave us these $2 off every meal we buy, so it was almost like we were forced to eat there... just for politeness sake. i mean, somebody gives you something, its rather expected of you to spend it there, rather than just take it and go off to another food joint. so we bought our real expensive huge burgers, and then isaac smsed me and told us to wait for him before eating... well, it was too late to stop, so it was just too bad for him.

then brian went back to check the times then finally felt that 1++ was too late to wait for just to watch a show. so he ended up also wanting to go to ps to catch the earlier show, or catch another show, both of which ryan and adriel refused profusely.

so i also started trying to persuade them to watch scoop or john tucker must die, but they didnt seem interested, because they were so amazed and entranced by how well the trailer for wtc was made, that they were super eager to watch it.

so i suggested brian and i watch something else while the other 2 could wait for isaac and watch wtc with him. then adriel was like nooo! then he started talking about how the 5 of us had to watch the same movie, but brian and i once again stressed that we dint wanna wait. so adriel gave in and decided to go to ps, but half-heartedly.

so i had to call isaac to tell him the change of plans, but he was already reaching vivo, just 1 mrt stop away, so we told him to meet us. the 4 of us went to look around vivo for a bit more, for adriel's sake, then went to change. then we met up with isaac, who wanted to stay in vivo, and ryan and adriel quickly took his side. then brian and i had to explain the situation, but isaac just said watch wtc. so brian and i decided to watch john tucker must die by ourselves. when isaac heard that, he wanted to come with us too. then adriel and ryan were lost for words.

we were arguing all the way through the queue and finally adriel decided to watch john tucker must die with us, and ryan had no choice but to agree. i was like super shocked, cos that kinda show is the last thing i would imagine adriel wanting to watch. i mean, i thought he would rather watch scoop at least. but either way, it suited me fine (:

ryan and isaac used their free ticket thing, and isaac had an extra so he gave it to brian. i paid for adriel's ticket cos he was watching a show he didnt really really wanna watch, and i was super happy he agreed to watch, so i just decided to so called reward him.

so after that, since isaac hadnt eaten lunch, he ate a lunch of popcorn and nachos with brian, while adriel, ryan and i went to explore vivo. we just admired the design basically, and then we went to best denki and played the xbox trial games there till it was time for the movie, heh. oh yea, i kept the tix so that brian and isaac couldnt go in without us.

so when we went into the cinema, there were 2 people sitting at our seats, and they took super long to realise it. i mean, how can you not know you're taking other peoples' seats??? i bet they did it on purpose, like they got a lousy seat and took a free seat which they thought nobody was taking.

the show was funny, i think all of you should know the basic plot by now. but the storyline was rather typical, so thats what brought it down for me. but still, overall, its nice. ryan was put off by the storyline and kept on ranting about how it was a waste of his money. also, brian is not a person you would wanna watch a movie with... he talks super loudly, and when it comes to parts in the trailer, he tells you what happens, as if you dont know! but that's not what puts me off, its basically acting like a know-it-all, naming everything in the movie that everyone knows...like doh... i mean, wheres his ettiquette?

so after the movie, we walked around a while, ryan was trying to get the orientation of vivo right, while i was pointing out landmarks for him that we saw before (a watch shop which ryan pointed out himself for selling posh watches). then lo and behold, adriel saw mr sir sitting inconspicuously on a bench! so we started talking, and then took pictures, then we left.

we walked a whole round, and realised that the mrt was where we started from, so we just wasted our time walking around. anyway, adriel went back by bus and the rest of us took mrt to dhoby ghaut and took bus back. ryan came to my house, and waited for his parents to come and pick him as they were picking up his sister from mgs, which is, as you all should know by know, right next to my house.
